In-House Powertrain Calibration
The 2020 Senna represents the final deliveries of this extraordinary machine, closing the chapter on what many consider the most focused road-legal car McLaren has ever created. The M840TR 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 at 789 HP and 590 lb-ft, the most powerful variant in the M840T family, sits within a car that generates 800 kg of downforce and weighs under 2,700 lbs dry. Every one of the 500 units is a collector's piece.
Stage 1 adds up to 125 HP and 115 lb-ft, raising output to approximately 914 HP and 705 lb-ft.
Stage 2 delivers up to 165 HP and 160 lb-ft over stock, pushing the Senna to roughly 954 HP and 750 lb-ft. A tuned Senna doesn't just go faster in a straight line, it corners harder, brakes later, and delivers lap time improvements that reflect the complete integration of power, downforce, and chassis.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. Map switching and antilag are offered as optional add-ons.
