In-House Powertrain Calibration
As the final production year, the 2020 600LT represents the most refined Longtail Sport Series McLaren. The M838TE 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 592 HP and 457 lb-ft through a top-exit exhaust system that reduces backpressure and shaves 12.5 kg. Every early-build issue has been resolved by this point in the production run, making it an ideal starting point for calibration work.
Stage 1 delivers up to 80 HP and 80 lb-ft, bringing output to approximately 672 HP and 537 lb-ft.
Stage 2 adds up to 105 HP and 100 lb-ft over stock, reaching roughly 697 HP and 557 lb-ft. With tuning, the final-year 600LT bridges the gap to Super Series performance while retaining exclusive Longtail character.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. ECU map switching and antilag are offered as optional add-ons.
