In-House Powertrain Calibration
The 2021 570S represents the final year of the Sport Series. McLaren shifted focus to the Artura, making the 570S the last pure-combustion entry-level McLaren. The M838TE 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 562 HP and 443 lb-ft, and as a final-year car, it's the most refined iteration of this platform.
Stage 1 adds up to 80 HP and 80 lb-ft, reaching approximately 642 HP and 523 lb-ft.
Stage 2 calibration delivers up to 105 HP and 100 lb-ft over stock, totaling roughly 667 HP and 543 lb-ft. With the 570S now out of production, tuning becomes an increasingly compelling way to keep these cars relevant against newer competition.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. ECU map switching and antilag are available as add-on options.
