In-House Powertrain Calibration
Named after the legendary Ayrton Senna, this is the most extreme road-legal McLaren ever built. The M840TR 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the "R" denoting race-derived enhancements, produces 789 HP and 590 lb-ft from upgraded turbocharger internals, revised porting, and a bespoke exhaust. The car generates 800 kg of downforce at 155 MPH, weighs just 2,641 lbs dry, and was limited to 500 units.
Stage 1 adds up to 125 HP and 115 lb-ft, pushing output to approximately 914 HP and 705 lb-ft.
Stage 2 delivers up to 165 HP and 160 lb-ft over stock, reaching a staggering 954 HP and 750 lb-ft. The Senna's enormous aerodynamic grip ensures this power translates into faster lap times, not just straight-line speed.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. Map switching and antilag are offered as add-ons.
