In-House Powertrain Calibration
The 2025 GTS continues McLaren's refined approach to grand touring with the M630TE 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 626 HP and 465 lb-ft. McLaren has incrementally improved the chassis calibration and electronic systems, making the 2025 model the most polished GTS to date while the conservative factory tune preserves meaningful headroom for calibration work.
Stage 1 adds up to 68 HP and 80 lb-ft, bringing output to approximately 694 HP and 545 lb-ft.
Stage 2 pushes up to 85 HP and 130 lb-ft over stock, totaling roughly 711 HP and 595 lb-ft. The 130 lb-ft torque increase fundamentally changes the car's mid-range character without altering its grand touring refinement, more effortless overtaking, more commanding highway pulls.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. Map switching and antilag are available as optional add-ons.
