In-House Powertrain Calibration
In its second year, the 2020 GT benefited from refined steering and damper calibration that further enhanced its touring credentials. The M630TE 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 612 HP and 465 lb-ft, with peak torque arriving low in the rev range to support effortless highway cruising, the kind of driving the GT was built for.
Stage 1 calibration adds up to 68 HP and 80 lb-ft, reaching approximately 680 HP and 545 lb-ft.
Stage 2 delivers up to 85 HP and 130 lb-ft over stock, totaling roughly 697 HP and 595 lb-ft. The emphasis on torque at Stage 2 is deliberate, that 28% torque increase transforms the GT's already effortless power delivery into something even more commanding.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. ECU map switching and antilag are available as add-ons.
