In-House Powertrain Calibration
With production concluded, the 2023-titled 765LT represents remaining inventory and late-delivered allocations of McLaren's Longtail masterpiece. The M840T 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 755 HP / 765 PS / 563 kW and 590 lb-ft / 800 Nm through the most aggressive factory calibration applied to the standard McLaren range. The 765LT's proven reliability record across thousands of owner miles and track days worldwide has established it as one of the most capable platforms for software tuning in the modern supercar segment.
Stage 1 calibration adds up to 125 HP / 127 PS / 93 kW and 115 lb-ft / 156 Nm, bringing output to approximately 880 HP / 892 PS / 656 kW and 705 lb-ft / 956 Nm.
Stage 2 extracts up to 165 HP / 167 PS / 123 kW and 160 lb-ft / 217 Nm over stock, reaching approximately 920 HP / 933 PS / 686 kW and 750 lb-ft / 1017 Nm. The 765LT's 80 kg weight advantage means that every additional horsepower delivers a greater impact on acceleration, the power-to-weight ratio at Stage 2 is outstanding.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. Map switching and antilag are offered as optional add-ons.
