In-House Powertrain Calibration
The 2023 McLaren 750S is the evolutionary successor to the 720S, featuring a revised M840T 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 now producing 740 HP and 590 ft-lbs from the factory. McLaren increased power through revised turbocharger compressor wheels, optimized exhaust flow, and an updated ECU calibration, but the engine's fundamental architecture remains the M840T platform our team knows inside and out from years of calibration development.
Our Stage 1 ECU calibration for the 2023 750S adds +125 HP and +115 TQ, bringing total output to approximately 865 HP and 705 ft-lbs. We push the revised turbochargers to their optimal operating point, advance ignition timing beyond the factory's conservative limits, and refine fuel delivery for maximum power on 93 octane. The 750S's lighter weight and improved aerodynamics make these gains even more impactful than on the 720S, acceleration is genuinely violent, and the car closes on the performance figures of McLaren's Ultimate Series. Stage 2 delivers 905 HP and 750 TQ. All calibrations are developed in-house by Mega 3 Performance with ECU map switching and antilag available.
