McLaren's M840T 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 in the 2019 720S produces 710 HP and 568 ft-lbs, making it one of the most powerful production V8 engines available. But the factory ECU calibration is engineered for global compliance, emissions targets, and conservative thermal management, meaning the M840T has significant untapped performance that our in-house calibrations are designed to unlock safely and reliably.
Stage 1 on the 2019 720S delivers +125 HP and +115 TQ for a total of approximately 835 HP and 683 ft-lbs. Our calibration raises peak and sustained boost pressure, advances ignition timing through the critical mid-range and top-end, and optimizes fueling for clean, consistent power delivery on 93 octane. The result is a 720S that accelerates harder, responds quicker, and pulls with more authority from any RPM point. Stage 2 takes total output to 875 HP and 728 TQ, genuine hypercar territory. Every calibration is developed and validated in-house by Mega 3 Performance through extensive dyno testing. ECU map switching and antilag are available as add-ons for maximum versatility.
