In-House Powertrain Calibration
The 675LT revived McLaren's legendary Longtail nameplate with a singular focus: less weight, more power, sharper handling. The M838TL 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 666 HP and 516 lb-ft, a meaningful upgrade over the 650S thanks to revised engine internals and a distinctive titanium exhaust that saves weight while improving flow.
Stage 1 calibration adds up to 80 HP and 80 lb-ft, bringing output to approximately 746 HP and 596 lb-ft.
Stage 2 extracts up to 105 HP and 100 lb-ft over stock, pushing the 675LT to roughly 771 HP and 616 lb-ft. Combined with the car's 100 kg weight savings over the 650S, the result is a power-to-weight ratio that approaches hypercar territory.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. ECU map switching and antilag are available, though on a car this focused, most owners opt for antilag.
