In-House Powertrain Calibration
The 570S launched McLaren's Sport Series in 2015, bringing carbon-tub construction to a more accessible price point. The M838TE 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 produces a factory-conservative 562 HP and 443 lb-ft of torque, deliberately detuned from the same architecture that makes 641 HP in the 650S. That gap represents excellent tuning headroom.
Stage 1 calibration adds up to 80 HP and 80 lb-ft, pushing output to approximately 642 HP and 523 lb-ft, effectively matching the 650S from the factory.
Stage 2 delivers up to 105 HP and 100 lb-ft over stock, reaching roughly 667 HP and 543 lb-ft. Both stages are achievable through software alone with no hardware modifications needed.
All calibrations are developed for 91 octane and 93 octane fuel. Custom calibrations are available for 100 octane or other race fuels. Map switching and antilag are offered as add-on options.
