In-House Powertrain Calibration
Owners can begin with Stage 1, which contributes 60 HP / 61 PS / 45 kW and 80 lb-ft / 108 Nm through ECU software. Estimated totals become 400 HP / 401 PS / 295 kW and 412 lb-ft / 558 Nm.
Stage 2 moves to 85 HP / 86 PS / 63 kW and 80 lb-ft / 108 Nm above stock, taking the powertrain to about 425 HP / 426 PS / 313 kW and 412 lb-ft / 558 Nm.
ECU Unlock
An ECU unlock is the process of removing the manufacturer's read/write protection on a vehicle's engine control unit, giving tuners access to the internal calibration data using flash tools. This restores the ability to read the original calibration, modify maps and parameters, and write custom software back to the unit, forming the foundation that other services, like map switching or custom calibration, are built on top of.
ZF 8 Speed TCU Calibration
The ZF 8HP TCU Calibration is a critical component of a properly calibrated performance package. Modern vehicles rely on continuous communication between the engine and transmission control systems to manage torque delivery, shift quality, and overall drivability. While an ECU calibration increases engine output, the factory transmission calibration often remains configured around the original power levels and can continue to employ torque intervention strategies that limit how effectively the additional power is delivered to the wheels.
Our TCU calibration is designed to work in conjunction with the ECU calibration, ensuring both systems operate with a synchronized torque model and allowing the transmission to fully support the increased power and torque produced by the engine.
