The 2016 DB11 V12 marked the beginning of a new era for Aston Martin, debuting the brand's first twin-turbocharged twelve-cylinder engine and an entirely new bonded aluminum platform. The 5.2L Twin-Turbo V12 (AE31) produces 600 HP / 608 PS / 447 kW and 516 lb-ft / 700 Nm, a deliberately conservative factory calibration that prioritizes refinement and long-distance comfort over outright aggression. As the launch model, the 2016 DB11 established the foundation for every Aston Martin GT that followed.

Stage 1 calibration adds up to 110 HP / 112 PS / 82 kW and 150 lb-ft / 203 Nm, pushing output to approximately 710 HP / 720 PS / 529 kW and 666 lb-ft / 903 Nm.

Stage 2 calibration adds up to 180 HP / 182 PS / 134 kW and 245 lb-ft / 332 Nm, reaching output to approximately 780 HP / 791 PS / 582 kW and 761 lb-ft / 1032 Nm.

ZF 8HP Transmission Control Unit (TCU) Calibration
The ZF 8HP TCU Calibration is a critical component of a properly calibrated performance package. Modern vehicles rely on continuous communication between the engine and transmission control systems to manage torque delivery, shift quality, and overall drivability. While an ECU calibration increases engine output, the factory transmission calibration often remains configured around the original power levels and can continue to employ torque intervention strategies that limit how effectively the additional power is delivered to the wheels.
